Tomorrow's Anzac services

WHILE the majority of Anzac Day services will be held on April 25, several local RSL clubs always hold services on the Sunday before Anzac Day.
It means veterans can attend the local ceremony on the Sunday and also the main service and the march in the city on Anzac Day.
And while the services and ceremonies are particularly for the veterans, all members of the public are encouraged to attend the ceremonies and to watch the marches in their area.
The services tomorrow are:10.30am: Anzac service at the Harbord Diggers' Club's cenotaph.10.45am: Assemble at the corner of Ethel and Maretimo streets, Seaforth, for the march to Balgowlah RSL Club, where a service will be held about 11am at the cenotaph. People attending the service only are to assemble at the club at 10.45am.11.30am: Narrabeen RSL Sub-Branch holds a march from Berry Reserve along Pittwater Rd to Ocean St, where a service will be held at noon, followed by refreshments at Narrabeen RSL Memorial and Recreation Club in Nareen Pde, North Narrabeen.12.30pm: A march forms at Pittwater Rd and Rowan St, Mona Vale, followed by a service at Village Park and lunch at Pittwater RSL, which costs $15 sub-branch members and $20 for club members.2.30pm: Assemble at Dee Why RSL Club for 2.45pm march down Richmond Ave to Dee Why Beach reserve, where a commemoration service is held at 3pm. A free bus departs the club at 2.30pm and returns after the service.2.30pm: March from Soldiers' Memorial Hall, Starkey St, to Forestville RSL, with a commemorative service from 3pm at the cenotaph at the club.
