Just one more job for busy Lizzie

RETIRED netballer and former captain of the Australian team Liz Ellis has never been one to sit still.
"I've always had heaps on my plate," Ellis said, following her appointment to the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) board this week.
"Most of the stuff (TV commentating, coaching, sponsor commitments, ambassador for the Macquarie Sports Foundation) I'm doing I was doing last year, and I still fitted in 20 hours of training.
"It's (the ASC role) just something else to manage."
Which invites the question is her appointment by the Federal Government an introduction to life as a politician?
"The older I get, the less likely I am to enter into politics," Ellis said.
"My role with the ASC allows me to contribute to public policy without getting into politics."
Ellis joins incoming board members David Gallop (National Rugby League CEO), Kate Allen (Olympian), Kyle Vander-Kuyp (athlete) and Sally Carbon (Olympian).
